What area’s do you service?
We service the East Bay including; El Sobrante, San Pablo, Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Kensington, Emeryville, Berkekley, and Oakland.
Do you only care for cats?:
We love all animals! And can provide care, with proper instructions, to most birds, snakes, reptiles, and fish. We offer dog walking on a limited basis.
How does the consultation work?:
This previously in person process is under review and will be updated shortly-We will come to your home and meet your kitty and discuss the feeding and care in detail. This is your opportunity to provide a key, to be kept on file in the key vault for future sits. Once the initial consultation is completed you simply contact us and we will send a confirmation email in the form of an invoice from QuickBooks.
Visiting Details:
We will visit your pet/s for the agreed upon duration/frequency noted in the QuickBooks invoice for each sit. The following care will be provided; medication, specific grooming, fresh water, food, litter cleaning, “accident” clean up, mail retrieval, plant watering, and of course lots pets, brushing, and play! You will receive photo updates once per visit, In order to be environmentally conscious, we will arrange sits based on location during busy times. This allows us to minimize travel time by not zig-zagging or doubling back. We can also accommodate more sits by grouping them, (twice daily sits are the exception and will be first and last).
Key Policy:
We will drop-off and pick-up keys for a $25 charge each way. Keys that are kept on file are stored in a locked key safe in a secure location.
48-Hour Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations fees are waived during the pandemic-Kindly cancel 48-hours before the scheduled visits. We plan our schedules carefully, and this allows us time to fill your spot with other cats in need of care. Should your cancellation fall within the 48-hours, we charge a fee equal to one of your regular-priced visits ($40).
Holiday Cancellation Policy:
We ask that if you need to cancel your during one of the major holidays, that you kindly provide a week’s notice before the scheduled start. We plan the holiday schedules very carefully, and really appreciate your consideration in giving us as much notice as possible if you should choose to cancel. Cancellations less than one week before will be charged $100 or half of the total cost of the sit, whichever is greater.
Provision of Pet Supplies:
We request that an additional three weeks of supplies be on hand in case the owner is unable to return due to quarantine-It is the responsibility of each client to provide and make accessible all cat supplies including food, litter, litter box cleaning supplies, medications (if applicable), and any other supplies or equipment required that we may need to perform services. Should we need to purchase and/or provide such supplies, the client is responsible for the total cost of any supplies, plus an additional $15 service fee per incident.
Flea Policy,(yes it happens to us all):
If you or your pet spend time outside, we encourage you to consult your vet for the best treatment. It is particularly important that you treat your pet if you will be on an extended trip. If it is determined that your pet has fleas, we will try to treat them if you have left medication or a flea collar. We will continue to visit your pet, however, they will be moved to the last sit of the day unless they require life sustaining medication if we cannot contain the fleas. This is done in an effort to not bring fleas into anyones home. Our staff’s pets are treated monthly.
