Hello! I am Melissa!

This is my feral cat Floki, I adopted her after she was returned to a local shelter twice and scheduled for euthanasia. I opened Finicky Felinz in 2016 to continue providing pet care to my existing client base when the large company I worked for closed. Prior to that I was a drug and alcohol counselor for over twenty years. I moved from the Virginia suburbs of DC to the Bay Area in 2011 and instantly fell in love. I have an MBA, a BA in Psychology, and certifications in pet psychology, pet nutrition, and pet cpr. I have 3 grown children and became a proud grandma of 2 girls and one boy. I spend my free time hiking with my husband Joe and baking.
